History in a Year: America’s First 250 Years
Welcome to History in a Year: America’s First 250 Years, the daily podcast that takes you on a monumental journey through the life of the United States. As we approach the nation’s 250th anniversary, there has never been a better time to rediscover the story of how we got here. Beginning with the spark of revolution in 1776, we cover the entire American saga—every President, every war, and every turning point—in exactly 365 days.
Hosted by Stephen and Leah, this isn’t a dry recitation of dates and facts. It is a daily conversation about the people who built the Republic. We dive into the personal struggles of the Founding Fathers, the complex evolution of Congress, and the unsung heroes who shaped our modern world. Whether you are listening on your commute or with your morning coffee, we make the sweeping story of America fit into your daily routine.

America’s leaders from Coast to Coast: The 250th Anniversary Edition Podcast
In honor of the United States’ 250th anniversary, we are completely resetting our podcasts to bring you a definitive digital archive of American leadership. Starting January 1st, we are launching an intensive, year-long journey to document the individuals shaping our Republic today and the executive leaders who have guided it since 1776. Our mission is to profile every voting Representative, every non-voting member, every Senator, and every President and Vice President in a single historic year.
This ambitious “Grand Tour” of the Republic is driven by a high-frequency daily schedule. On our primary feed, we will feature the U.S. House of Representatives, releasing one dedicated profile every weekday. To ensure we honor all 441 members by the end of 2026, we will feature “double-drop” episodes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We are making sure that every district and every territory—from the largest states to the six non-voting districts—has its place in this Semiquincentennial celebration.
Our secondary track will focus on the U.S. Senate and the Executive Branch. Every Tuesday and Thursday, we will provide a comprehensive look at the legislative records and impacts of our 100 Senators. On the weekends, our focus shifts to the highest offices in the land, with Saturdays and Sundays dedicated to the unique individuals who have served as President or Vice President. These episodes will provide a chronological biographical roadmap of the American executive journey from the Founding Fathers to the present day.
This project is more than just a podcast; it is a daily civics habit designed for the 250th year of the American experiment. By synthesizing vast amounts of historical data and current legislative records, we are creating a comprehensive guide to the people who hold the “Levers of Liberty.” Join us every day of 2026 as we honor two and a half centuries of American history, one leader at a time.
